The first quarter of 2022 saw notable performances from the top Business Finance & Business Solutions applications on the iOS platform in Europe. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads and active users for these apps.

SumUp: Payments and POS, from SumUp Limited, showed a consistent upward trend in weekly downloads. Starting at around 9.7K in late December, the downloads peaked at approximately 15.6K by early March. The app also maintained a robust number of weekly active users, beginning the quarter with about 224K and rising steadily to around 265K by the end of March.

PayPal Business, developed by PayPal, Inc., experienced a varied download trend. Weekly downloads started at approximately 11.5K, reaching a high of 13.6K in mid-January before tapering off to about 8.9K by the end of March. The app's active users fluctuated modestly, starting at around 77K and ending the quarter slightly lower at 75.8K.

ADP Mobile Solutions from ADP, Inc., saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, moving from around 2.6K at the end of December to a peak of about 5.6K in late February. Active users saw a similar upward trajectory, starting at 29.4K and peaking at 33K by the end of March.

Tide Business Banking App by Tide Platform Ltd also demonstrated consistent download activity. Weekly downloads began at approximately 2.5K and peaked at around 4.3K in mid-January. Active users started at 37K and saw a peak of about 42K before stabilizing around 40K towards the end of the quarter.

PayPal Zettle: Point of Sale, another app from PayPal, Inc., experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at about 2.8K and reaching nearly 4.8K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 34.3K and reaching approximately 38.4K by the end of the quarter.
